Jamshedpur: In a bid to foster holistic development among children attending madrassas, a three-day summer camp has been scheduled to commence on May 15 at Mango Gandhi Ground. Dr Afroz Shakeel and Md. Tahir Hussain from Mango Welfare Mission informed that the camp aims to introduce participants to various sports disciplines including football, cricket, handball, and more. Additionally, strategies for maintaining physical fitness will be imparted.
Dr Afroz emphasized the importance of broadening children’s horizons beyond their religious education, stating that sports can play a pivotal role in shaping their futures. Md. Rashid highlighted that this year, prizes will be awarded to the victorious teams, further incentivizing participation and excellence.
