Subroto Ghoshal elected vice president of Photographers� Fed

Jamshedpur, Jan 16: In a meeting held at JSK Infotec in Goregaon (Mumbai), city photographer Subroto Kumar Ghoshal was elected the vice president of All India Photographers� Federation. The meeting comprised delegates from Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Maharashtra.

The meeting was presided by Rakesh Tiwary, photographer from Patna. An election for the posts of office bearers was held and the elections to the various posts were unanimous. Gurnam Singh, Punjab (president), Subroto Kumar Ghoshal, Jharkhand (vice president), Rakesh Tiwary, Bihar (secretary), Chittaranjan Patra, Odisha (treasurer).

Others unanimously elected were Abhimanyu Kumar, Jharkhand (joint secretary), Vishnu Kumar, Bihar (joint treasurer), Ganesh Gharat, Maharashtra (media official) and Surendra Singh (assistant media official). Birbhan Baba of Haryana was also elected as vice president.

 The tenure of the newly elected committee will be of two years. Registration will be done from the Federation�s Delhi office which would take two months� time.
