Jamshedpur, July 8: Young Sikh preacher Bhai Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri has announced a new initiative to provide complete study material in a bid to promote Gurmukhi language among Sikh children. On Monday, he called on all Gurudwara committees to begin offering Gurmukhi education to children, assuring them of his support in supplying the necessary study materials.
Jamshedpuri emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that while some of Kolhan’s 34 Gurudwaras already taught Gurmukhi, greater efforts were needed to spread awareness and education. He urged the heads and representatives of all Gurudwaras to join this campaign, assuring to supply Gurmukhi literature and alphabet resources.
Highlighting the crucial role of education, Jamshedpuri stated that a strong educational foundation was essential for community progress, and that he was committed to ensuring that every Sikh child was educated in the mother tongue. He pledged to make every effort to expand Gurmukhi education.
