Students lead sustainability drive at JUSCO School South Park

Jamshedpur, April 23: More than 2,300 students of JUSCO School South Park celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm by participating in a series of eco-friendly activities on campus.
The celebrations included special events such as eco dance and ramp walk, cyclothon and walkathon, waste segregation in collaboration with Koru Foundation, and an e-waste collection drive conducted by Hulladek Recycling.
Students from different classes took part in various activities. Nursery students engaged in leaf impression, while LKG children performed palm printing under the theme “Hands for Earth.” UKG students planted saplings. Classes I to III made collages, and Classes IV and V presented recitations on avoiding plastic. Senior students participated in recitations on global warming, poster making, and designing reusable paper bags.
The programme aimed to spread awareness about environmental protection and encourage sustainable practices among students.
