Jamshedpur, Jan 29: A day after 800 students of a city-based college were not allowed to appear for their Class XI examination the students of Mrs KMPM Inter-College staged a protest on Thursday at the College entrance to hold reexamination and remove the fear of losing an academic year.

A student at the college said that the council is playing with the future of the students.

“Who would be hold responsible if one academic year is lost? We don’t even know whether the council will conduct examination in coming days or not,” he said.

The exams, conducted by JAC, stared on Wednesday with English and Hindi papers.

At Mrs KMPM Inter College, which is run by the Jusco Education Mission (JEM) Foundation has promised to help the students so that they don’t lose a year.
