Seraikela : Students of Kashi Sahu College, Seraikela complained against the BA the history honours paper.
Students were to answer their seventh paper by framing their own questions after the examinees, taking the test at 13 centres across the region, found to their horror that a crucial part (Section B) was missing.
The question paper of 100 marks usually has two sections with 10 questions each – Group A on American history and Group B on Jharkhand history.
Students need to attempt only five questions of 20 marks each from any/both sections. So, they either opt for American history or Jharkhand history. But, this time, the question paper did not have the second part, that is Jharkhand history.
While students started protesting, faculty members also expressed their surprise. According to teachers, more than 90 per cent students of Kolhan University study history of Jharkhand and leave out American history.
