Student outfits raise dust over common room

Jamshedpur: Several student organizations created ruckus at Jamshedpur Workers� College on Thursday on the issue of allotting common rooms.
Sources said the hullaballoo began when members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) and All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO) protested plans of the college administration to convert the oom allotted to National Service Scheme (NSS) cadets into a common room for girls. The protestors demanded that the common room should be allotted to students and that a separate room should be allotted to NSS cadets.
Among those present during the pandemonium included Abhishek Ojha, Shailendra Ojha, Sagar Ojha, Satyanath Pramanik, Vishal Singh, Karan Mahato, Rahul and Bapan Ghosh.
