Street Play in Chaibasa on the occasion of World Consumer Day

Jamshedpur, March 15: On the occasion of World Consumer Day, a street play titled ‘Jaago Grahak Jago’ was performed in Chaibasa Sadar Bazaar by the Bureau of Indian Standards, Jamshedpur branch. Presented by the young talents of Geeta Theater, the play shed light on deceptive practices by sellers who offer defective goods at inflated prices.

The performance aimed to educate the audience about identifying authentic products by looking for the PAP mark and BDS number. Spectators were encouraged to utilize the Bureau of Indian Standards’ app to verify the authenticity and quality of products by dialing the CML number.

The street play emphasized the importance of being vigilant while purchasing gold, urging consumers to scrutinize hallmarks carefully.

The play urged consumers to stay informed and empowered.

Actors K Divya, Anant Sardar, Vivek Prasad, Shyamali Dhibar, Gautam Dhibar, Geeta Kumari, and Prem Dixit performed with conviction.
