Jamshedpur :The city police have arrested a 35-year-old step-father for allegedly raping his daughter to death at Shivnagar under Telco police station area on Sunday.
The police arrested, Pintu Singh, on the basis of the autopsy report which was released today. In the autospy report it is stated that the victim’s private parts were found ruptured and injury in the lower abdomen was found due to both natural and unnatural sexual act.
The police arrested Singh, who works as a private security guard, from Kharangajhar in Telco where he had been hiding ever since the 12-year-old girl died on Sunday evening.
Pintu Singh had married the victim’s mother five years ago after the death of her father. Ever since the marriage, the victim would stay along with her mother and step-father at a rented house in Jyotinagar in Telco. The victim was a student at a hindi medium government-run school at Kharangajhar.
In a statement made to the police by victim’s mother, on Saturday morning the accused had taken the victim and his wife to his mother’s house at Shivnagar near Jyotinagar.
In the evening, mother and daughter had started for returning back to their home, but on the way the accused asked his wife to go home alone and he took the victim along back to Shivnagar. There was no one at the Shivnagar house as the victim’s step-grandparents had gone away from home for some work.
But when the victim returned to Jyotinagar after two hours along her step-father, she was complaining of severe pain in her private parts.
According to the statement, after she had fell unconscious, the mother wanted to take her to Tata Motors Hospital, but the accused had forced his wife to wash the girl’s body thoroughly before taking her to the hospital, where she was declared as brought dead.
