Steel City swimmers show talent at National Aquatic Championship trail

Jamshedpur, May 3: D. P. International Swimming Academy organised district level selection trail on Sunday, May 3 were 90 players participated.

The winners have been selected for state level swimming competition to be held in Ranchi in June 2015. This information was provided by Deepak Kumar Singh, Secretary, East Singbhum Swimming Association.

The event was held under two categories in Junior Group – I (Male) 15 to 17 years – Sagnik kar Roy, Arman Parikh, Aryan Agarwal,Abhimanu Amin, Arnold B. Rao, Abhishek Singh, Bishwajit Dutta were the winners.

Group – I (Female) 15 to 17 years- Vaishnavi Sahu, Samiskhya Behra, Vanshika Jalan and Anvesha Nidhi got selected.

Group – II (Male) 13 to 14 years- Neil Gandhi, Archis Man Mitra andAnkit Kumar were declared the winners.

Group – II (Female) 13 to 14 years- Aditi Singh, Diya Madia, Nandika Verma, Ishika Priya, Lavanya Gautam , Anushka Agarwal and Anjali Singh were the winners.

In Sub Junior Group – III (Male) 11 to 12 years-Vaibhav, Biren Kumar, Tegveer Singh, Dipanshu Chowdhary, Aaryan Raj Singh and Aaryan Gautam were the winners, Group – III (Female) 11 to 12 years Vanshika Kadian, Kavya Kauntia, Tanisha sawa, Lavya Gautam, Kavya Kauntia and Ananya Preyeshi were selected, Group – IV (Male) 09 to 10 years-Rana Pratap, Anhad Veer Singh, Triptesh Acharjee, Piyush Kumar Singh and Diptendu Samanta were the winners.

In Group – IV (Female) 09 to 10 years Ariana Parikh, Priyal Kauntia Ispita Mukherjee and Suptima Sen were shortlisted.

The state level winners will participate in Junior and Sub-junior National Aquatic Championship 2015 to be held at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Swimming Pool , Pune , Maharashtra from 13th to 19th July 2015 organised by Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India.
