Jamshedpur, May 3: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina, 2nd all women’s Rotary Club in Dist 3250 has completed 10 months of service to society.
The club chartered on 10 July, 2014 has done lot of activities in the last 300 days. Charter presented by Past Rotary International President Kalyan Banerjee with Rotarian Pasam Adesara as Charter President and Geeta Dubey as Secretary.
The club started with 24 members now boasts 37 enthusiastic members doing social service activities.
Apart from conducting blood donation camp, free medical camp, free medicine distribution, the club adopted a village near Telco where they constructed a ladies toilet for villagers and revived a tube well to provide water to villagers.
Club celebrated Press Day on May 1 where President highlighted the achievements and talked about the future plans. Pasam Adesara said that we have done a commendable job during the last 10 months and have a lot to achieve in the remaining two months.
We will form a rotary Community Corps (RCC) at Village Kondadih were the villagers will help in the community work, adopt another village nearby for which they are negotiating, donate a sewing machine at kondadih Village, have medical camps at village and most important donate solar lamps at the village in collaboration with Jamipol, for which talks are on. Present on the occasion were Dr. Bharat, Gian Taneja, Aruna taneja and Katy Gabba.
