Jamshedpur: A grand statue of Lord Shani was installed at the Kali temple at Kadma Market on Thursday.
A total of 108 women took out a kalash procession to carry water from river Kharkai in order to complete the statue installation ritual.
Hundreds of devotees gathered at the temple to participate in the installation ceremony. Bhog was distributed among the people following the ceremony.
Among those present during the ceremony included Balak Nag, Dilip Nag, Ravi Das, Raja Dhar, Billu Ghosh, Radha Guha, Babla Pal, Bubai Banerjee and Ashwini Das.
