State Yoga Championship on April 7 at The Milanee in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 31 : The one-day Jharkhand State Yogasana Sports Championship, organized by the Jharkhand Chapter of World Fitness Federation (WFF) of Yogasana Sports India will be organized on Sunday, April 7 at the Milanee Hall in Bistupur. Preparations are underway with continuous meetings and reviews by the organizing committee.

The championship aims to draw participants from schools, colleges, and various institutions across the state, with invitations extended to engage a wide array of contenders. Yoga Guru Anshu Sarkar, President of WFF of Yogasana Sports India and founder of Sarkar Yoga Academy, informed that the event would feature multiple competitions throughout the day, segmented into 12 different age group categories.

Participants will have to register online for competitions spanning sub-juniors, juniors, seniors, super seniors, masters, moms, and a star category, catering to diverse demographics. The championship, set to commence at 8 am, will culminate with a prize distribution ceremony at 6 pm.

Distinguished guests including WFF International President Shivam Bhaduria, Raj Kumar Gupta (CEO, ZapIT – Government of Jharkhand), Probal Ghosh (Vice President, Shared Services, Tata Steel), and District Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal are expected to be present at the event.

Rajesh Singh (Director, Samay Construction Group) and Ritu Rawat from the WFF organization will participate in the awards distribution ceremony.
