Jamshedpur, Dec 7: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto said that the state government was mum over the pitiable unemployment issue. Pointing an accusing finger at the state government, the parliamentarian stated, “The productive Surda Mines is closed pending an NOC from the state’s Chief Secretary. During the BJP government’s regime, the Rakha Mines was reopened and thousands of local youth found employment as a result.”
Mahto pointed out that with the Chapdi Mines remaining closed 22 thousand youth were deprived of jobs in the area. He said, “The JMM-Congress government is a cancer and with this combine ruling Jharkhand, the people cannot expect progress and development. The power supply condition in rural areas is pathetic. Such an insensitive government can never do anything good for the state and its people. On the face of deteriorating power supply conditions, the electricity charges have been inordinately raised.”
The parliamentarian expressed confidence that soon the people would invite the BJP to form a government in Jharkhand and other states where the saffron party was needed for ushering in progress and development.
