State Govt to fill up one lakh posts within six months: CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the government would fill up one lakh vacant posts with next six months.

He said that recruitments of 25,000 primary teachers have already been done. Recruitment process for appointments of 10,000 constables, 4000 Daroga, and 14,000 health workers will begin from February next, he said.

The CM claimed that the problem of scarcity of IAS, IPS, teachers, constables and forth grade staff would be solved within six months.

The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of housewarming ceremony at CM House on Kanke Road.

Das said the new government would work for the betterment of the 3.5 Crore population including the deprived sections. Rehabilitation of the displaced, employment to the unemployed youths, security to the women and creation of new employment opportunity would be his priority, he said.

He called upon the opposition parties to play the role of a constructive opposition and put forward solutions to the problems.

Answering a question on cancellation of the tendering process for the sand quarries the CM said that he had issued directives to the concerned officials to follow the rulebook and apply their good judgment while carrying out departmental responsibilities.

On shifting to his official residence the CM said that he followed the age-old tradition of housewarming adding that the doors of his residence will remain open for the public round the clock.

I will remain committed to the people: CM.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he would remain committed to the people of Jharkhand. �I had been a CM (Common Man), am now a CM and will remain a CM in days to come. For me coming to power means to serve people more than ever,� he said.

Das enters CM House through rear doors.

Chief Minister has followed the rules of Vastu Shastra and entered into his official residence through rear doors at CM House. The astrologers and Vastu experts had advised the CM that the moment was auspicious for shifting to new residence.

Taking a note of the recommendation of Vastu experts the CM entered into his residence from Morabadi end instead of western end of the house. It was said that entry through rear doors would eliminate Vastu problems.

A host of dignitaries including Governor Syed Ahmed, former chief ministers Hemant Soren, Madhu Koda, former deputy CM Sudesh Mahato, ministers Louis Marandi and Chandra Prakash Choudhury, MLA Nizamuddin Ansari, and senior members of BJP congratulated Raghubar Das on the occasion.
