BJP questions delay in pension and gram panchayat rights

Ranchi, February 17: Jharkhand’s Hemant Soren government is trying to make the general budget of the year 2025-26 an abua budget.

The opinion of the public has also been taken for an inclusive and development-oriented budget. The government has intensified the initiative to get more revenue than its target before the end of this financial year.

State Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore has claimed that the economic condition of the state is very strong. He said that even if the fiscal deficit is 3%, it is still considered fine, but due to the efficient financial management of the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand, the fiscal deficit is only 1.5%.

Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore said that despite the good financial condition of the state, the government is trying to increase its revenue and recover 5 to 10 thousand crore rupees more than the target. Minister Radhakrishna Kishore said that the government had set a target of 128000 crores in the current financial year. Necessary instructions have been given so that more revenue can be recovered.

The Finance Minister of the state said that there is no shortage of funds in this financial year for the “Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana” in the state.

He said that due to technical reasons, the amount has not gone to the accounts of the beneficiaries.

At the same time, the fiscal deficit of the state is also very low. In such a situation, the government will not have any problem of money for welfare schemes.

Calling the Finance Minister’s claim of Jharkhand’s financial management good as a misstatement,

Jharkhand BJP’s state spokesperson Rafia Naz said that when the state government has no shortage of money, then why are the shoes and socks of the children studying in government schools torn.

Rafia Naz said that if there is no shortage of money, then why is the scholarship given to Scheduled Caste-Tribe and OBC students stopped. She said that if the financial condition is so good then why is the pension of the disabled, elderly and widows stopped. Rafia Naz said that if the financial condition of the state is so good then why is the government not giving financial rights to the Gram Panchayat.
