State Election Commission chairman reviews municipal poll preparations

Seraikela: Jharkhand State Election Commission chairman NN Pandey on Thursday reviewed preparations for the upcoming municipal elections in Seraikela-Kharsawan through video conferencing. He sought updates on the requirement for electronic voting machines and their availability. He also discussed issues related to the final publication of the electoral roll, requirement of election duty staff and security persons and other issues. Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan informed the Chairman about the preparations made in the district so far. The meeting was also attended by SP Chandan Kumar Sinha, DDC Akansha Ranjan, district Panchayati Raj Officer Parasnath Yadav, SDPO Sandeep Kumar Dubey, DRDA Director Aneeta Sahay and District Planning Officer Suresh Rai.
