Jamshedpur, June 30: The Election Commission of India may announce in August the dates for elections in Jharkhand, setting the stage for the next battle at the hustings after the just concluded Lok Sabha election. The tenure of the state assembly of Jharkhand will end in January next year.
The elcetions may taken take place by end of 2014 or by October end, seeing the situation Congress has turned itself into election mode there by organising meets at district level. While BJP have thought out several slogan for the assemlbly elections chanting including �Bhool hui so bhool abkibaar Kamal phool� and several different slogans to tackle the oppostion.
Jharkhand State Congress Committee President, Sukhdev Bhagat nomiated district incharge for all the different districts of the state seeing the upcoming Assembly elections in the state and to carry out all the programs of the party smoothly in the different districts of the state.
Lal Kishorenath Sahdev, Media Secretary of State Congress Committee said that partial changes have been made in the district incharges appointed earlier.
To carry out all the functions in the state smoothly and make the party organisation work as a team and to organise programs time to time on the directions of Akhil Bhartiya Congress Committee the party decided to nomiate the names of district incharge, added Kishorenath Sahdev. Like earlier the nominated personels will visit their respective district regularly and take part in the monthly programs of the party.
For Ranchi Mahanagar Raja Rajendra Pratap dev, Hriudyanand Mishra, Ajay Singh, for Ranchi Rural Raja Rajendra Pratap dev, Ramashrya Prasad and SRA Chabban Rizvi have been nominated. Talking about West Singhbhum KN jha, Shamsudin Khan, Sardar Mahendra Singh and Bharat Singh have been given the duty while for Seraikela KN Jha , DN Champiya, Raju Choubey and Shailej Singh.
For East Singhbhum KN Jha, Jawaharlal Sinha, Sultan Ahmed and KN Mittal have been nominated. Rakeshwar Pandey, Vijay khan and Devika Singh have been nomnaietd for INTUC.
The Jharkhand government, led by chief minister Hemant Soren�s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) with just 18 members in an 82-member state assembly, is surviving with the help of the 13-member strong Congress, and independents.
The BJP has 18 members in the assembly and with it winning 12 of 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the fragile government could be further strained.
