Jamshedpur, July 9: Senior BJP leaders of Jharkhand and state President Ravindar Rai today congratulated Amit Shah on his election as the President of the ruling BJP.
In his message to the party, copies of which were released to the press here, former Jharkhand CM Arjun Munda recalled Shah’s enormous contribution to the development of the party in Gujarat and other states and said he was quite confident that his clear vision, influence and tireless hard work will definitely record a new era in the history of the BJP and national politics in India.
Describing Shah as an able organiser, Ravindar Rai said that he proved his organisational skills first in Gujarat and then in Uttar Pradesh. “BJP’s dream of becoming an all-embracing and all- inclusive party will be realised under Shah’s leadership,” the release said.
In his message, Ex State President Dr. Dineshanand Goswami credit Shah for the huge victory the BJP recorded in Uttar Pradesh in the recent Lok Sabha Elections.
He also expressed the hope the BJP, under Shah’s leadership, would implement all the poll promises made to the people.
Former MLA and senior party leader, Saryu Rai said that everybody knew about Shah’s organisational and management skills as well as commitment to nationalist values, the release said, adding that the morale of BJP’s rank and file is high after Shah’s appointment to the coveted post.
Describing the election as a welcome new chapter, BJP State spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale said Shah was a strong leader whose political acumen was evident in the party’s massive victory in Uttar Pradesh in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections and conveyed his congratulations to him.
BJP MLA Raghubar Das who is in the national capital met Amit Shah and congratulated him also presented a bouquet of flowers to him.
