St. Joseph School organizes tobacco awareness, felicitates toppers

Jamshedpur, August 24: Alumni Association of St. Joseph School, Golmuri organized an awareness session on the ill-effects of tobacco consumption on Sunday at the school campus.

Chief Guest on the occasion was Secretary of DLSA, Rajesh Kumar. Dr. Amit Kumar informed about the effects that consuming tobacco has on a human being.

At the event scholarships were awarded to top three students who excelled in class 10 board exams. The students who were awarded included Abhishek Kumar was awarded Ramakant Singh School for excellence award by Shiv Shankar Singh.

Shreya Vishwas was awarded Vashist Prasad Memorial Award and Anjali Dhanshan walked away with Jasumati Devi Memorial Scholarship award.

Later a blood donation drive was also held were 32 units were collected.
