St. John’s High School Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour

Jamshedpur: Students and teachers of the St. John’s High School, Jamshedpur, celebrated the 77th Republic Day in a dignified and patriotic atmosphere. They came together to honour the spirit of the Constitution and the nation.

The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag by the school’s principal, Ashu Tiwary, in the presence of the vice-principal and teaching staff. This was followed by the collective singing of the National Anthem, resonating with a deep sense of unity and national pride.

A disciplined march-past by high school students drew admiration from the audience, reflecting the values of discipline and dedication. A high school student then administered the National Pledge, with students and teachers pledging to uphold the unity, integrity, and prosperity of the nation.

Students delivered thought-provoking speeches in Hindi and English, highlighting the significance of Republic Day, the Indian Constitution, civic responsibilities, and the vital role of youth in nation-building. The celebrations were further enriched by patriotic songs that echoed love for the country.

An attractive fancy dress competition on the theme of patriotism was organised for primary students, showcasing inspiring portrayals of freedom fighters and India’s rich cultural heritage. Patriotic dance performances by both primary and high school students added colour and vibrancy to the event.

Addressing the gathering, principal Ashu Tiwary urged students to imbibe constitutional values, maintain discipline, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress as responsible citizens.
