Srinath University Jamshedpur: New students welcomed with ‘Srinath Shankhnaad 2024’ orientation program

Jamshedpur, August 9: Srinath University kicked off the academic year 2024-2025 with its annual orientation program, ‘Srinath Shankhnaad 2024’, held at the Tata Auditorium in XLRI. The event aimed to introduce freshmen to university life through a mix of cultural performances, social events, and informational sessions.

The program was graced by several distinguished guests, including Ananya Mittal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, who served as the Chief Guest. Other notable attendees included Ujjal Chakraborti, Managing Director of JCAPCPL, and Rishabh Garg, IPS SP Jamshedpur.

In his address, Ananya Mittal encouraged students to view education as a journey of discovery, emphasizing its role in understanding the world and oneself. Ujjal Chakraborti welcomed the new students and highlighted the university’s role in shaping their future.

The event also saw the launch of Srinath University’s magazine, ‘Sri Vaani.’

Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato provided an overview of the university’s courses and future prospects, while Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.N Singh emphasized the institution’s commitment to excellent education and the importance of extracurricular activities.

The orientation included guided tours of academic and recreational facilities, helping new students familiarize themselves with the campus.

Founders Shambhu Mahato and Sandhya Mahato, along with other university officials and guests, inaugurated the program by lighting the traditional lamp.

This event marks the beginning of a new academic journey for the freshmen at Srinath University, setting the stage for their future academic and personal growth.
