Srinath University celebrates Durgotsav festivities

Jamshedpur, Oct 7, 2024: Srinath University was alive with festivities as students and faculty came together to celebrate Durgotsav. The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, creating an atmosphere of reverence and joy.

Students showcased their talent through energetic Dandiya and Garba performances, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm and grace. The campus also featured food stalls organized by students from the Commerce and Management departments, offering a variety of delicious snacks and refreshments, enhancing the festive spirit.

Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato emphasized the festival’s deeper significance, stating, “Durgotsav is not just a celebration of tradition but a reminder that good always triumphs over evil. It is an ode to the eternal power of Goddess Durga, and through this festival, we reaffirm our belief that righteousness always prevails.”

The event attracted a large crowd, including students from Srinath University and Srinath College of Education, along with faculty members and non-teaching staff, all united in the celebration of this important festival.
