‘Srinath Shankhnad 2025’ ignites spirit of leadership and learning at Srinath University

Jamshedpur, August 8: Srinath University hosted its flagship annual orientation event, ‘Srinath Shankhnad 2025’, welcoming new students with messages of discipline, innovation, and leadership. The ceremony brought together leaders from the fields of education, industry, and administration, offering students a dynamic start to their academic journey.

The event was attended by distinguished personalities, including SSP East Singhbhum Piyush Pandey, Zonal Director of JIADA Dinesh Kumar Ranjan (JAS), MD of JCAPCPL Abhijit Avinash Nanoti, COO of Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd. Shakti Prasad Senapati, and senior executives from Cross Ltd, Tata Cummins, and XLRI, among others.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.N. Singh, and trustees of Sandhya Shambhu Trust.

In his keynote address, Chief Guest Piyush Pandey advised students to embrace digital-age learning, stay clear of ragging and substance abuse, and use social media wisely. He emphasized the importance of responsible citizenship and nation-building.

Abhijit Avinash Nanoti highlighted the value of curiosity and preparation in achieving success, while Ramakant Giri urged students to recognize and sharpen their inner potential. Other speakers shared insights from their respective fields, offering practical wisdom and motivation.

Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato assured the new batch of the university’s commitment to holistic development and academic excellence.

Dean (Academics) Dr. Deepak Shukla and Head of Learning and Development  Monika Xhingan presented the university’s achievements and growth trajectory, reaffirming its focus on preparing students for both industry and society.

A highlight of the event was an oath-taking ceremony led by Dean (Administration) J. Rajesh, reinforcing student commitment to discipline and national service.

The orientation included cultural performances—folk dances, songs, skits, and instrumental music—celebrating Jharkhand’s cultural richness and energizing the incoming batch.

The event was hosted by Assistant Dean (Academics) Dr. Bhavya Bhushan, with  Rachna Rashmi from the B.Ed. department delivering the vote of thanks.

Srinath Shankhnad 2025 reinforced the university’s mission to mold students into responsible, creative, and skilled individuals who contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
