Jamshedpur, August 7: Srinath College of Education celebrated the fifth edition of Srinath Shrawani Sangam at the college auditorium. Numerous cultural performances by the D.El.Ed and B.Ed students marked the occasion. The traditional songs and dances presented connected everyone to folk life.
Various competitions, including nail art, mehendi, hair styling, rakhi making and ramp walk were organized in the college campus a day earlier. The artists received high praise for their creative excellence. The event concluded with a ramp walk, talent round, and question-answer round, culminating in the announcement of Mr. and Miss Sawan. Puja Thakur was crowned Miss Sawan, and Devidutta Behra was named Mr. Sawan.
Rachna Rashmi, the Principal in-charge, highlighted the importance of the month of Sawan and praised its glory. The event was graced by the presence of management members Anita Mahato and Moumita Mahato.
