Jamshedpur, Feb 19: The 135th birth anniversary of Sri-Sri Paramampremaya Thakur Anukul Chandra and the 26th lecture day of Satsang Vihar Tatanagar were celebrated with piety and joy during a programme organized at the Agrico Transport Maidan on Sunday, February 19. More than 30,000 devotees from across Jharkhand participated in the programme.
The morning recitation from the scriptures of Sri-Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra were recited following which Prasad was distributed among the large numbe of participating devotees.
Among the programmes organized on the occasion were Sangitanjali, Matri Sammelan during which Mili Srivastav, Ratna Das and Anita Gupta from Kolkata discussed on motherhood. They discussed how a mother should bring up their children that would inculcate in their growing kids positive attitude, pure thoughts and respect towards elders, kindness towards all so that they may make the family, society and nation proud. Pranati Sharan conducted the Maatri Sammelan. A religious meeting was organized on this occasion. Ajitabh Chakraborty of Sri-Sri Thakur’s family, Dr Madhu Kumar from Deoghar, Kriti Sundar Bhattacharjee from Deoghar, Rajesh Khandelwal from Bhubaneswar were among others who participated in the Dharma Sabha. Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai, former minister Ramchandra Sahis, BJP leaders Abhay Singh and Rajkumar Singh, former MLA Maneka Sardar, Ritwik Bhaskar Sharan of Satsang Vihar Tatanagar, Vinod Sao, Ganga Prasad, Dilip Mishra were present on this occasion. Anand Kumar Sanju conducted the Dharm Sabha. Kartik Chand Das, Arun Manna, Amiyaduti Manna, Vishwajit, Sanjit, Shukla Bose and others presented bhajans. A Doctors’ Coference was organized during the festival. Dr Sangita from Ranchi, Dr Kriti Sundar Lal from Kolkata and Dr Ram Naresh Rai, cardiologist of Brahmanand Hospital on the updated status of medical science. Dr Ram Naresh Rai said, “I have read Sri-Sri Thakur’s observations and realized that he had mentioned about current medical status 100 years ago.”
