Jamshedpur, Sept. 26: The Sri-Sri Rankini Mandir Durga Puja Committee inaugurated its Durga Utsav Puja 2025 at Kadma with a grand ceremony. The puja pandal was formally opened for public viewing by chief guest and social worker, Shekhar Dey, partner of Sreeleathers, Bistupur, along with special guests Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari, K.K. Arora, Diwakar Singh, Ratnesh Kumar Singh and Gaurav Rungta.

Addressing the gathering, Shekhar Dey said that Durga Puja was not only a religious festival but also a symbol of the victory of truth over falsehood and resistance against social oppression. He emphasized that its message should inspire people to work for the welfare of society and the nation.

The special guests noted that the Rankini Temple was not only an iconic religious site in Kadma but also a prestigious landmark in Jamshedpur, attracting large crowds during the puja.

Committee President Dilip Das, General Secretary Janardan Pandey, along with K.G. Govind, A.R. Dey, Satish Verma, Sanjay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, S. Ramesh, Subhash, Kartik, Manoj Kumar, Naveen Kumar and other senior and junior members of the committee, were also present on the occasion.
