Jamshedpur: The 45th Bramhotsava (Balajee mahotsava) celebrations entered second day on Monday at Andhra Bhakta Sri Ram Mandir, Bistupur. The puja began early morning with a yagna ceremony. A bhajan programme was also organized later in the day.
Temple committee members said the ceremonies will continue back to back till the final day when the celebration would reach consummation. A large number of people are expected on the final day as well, they said.
Many dignitaries and devotees were present during the religious ceremony on the temple premises. Priests of Ram Mandir and other temples across India are participating in the ceremony.
The ceremony will continue for 12 days. A group of five priests from Tirupati Devsthanam will be performing puja during the programme, said organizers.
A cultural programme will be organized by artists of Tirupati Dharma Prachar Parishad during the ceremony. This was informed by the temple committee president CH Shankar Rao and secretary K Ranga Rao.
Besides the cultural programme, a town procession will be taken out during which people will be able to get darshan of Lord Balajee, temple officials said.
