Jamshedpur, April 21: Sreeleathers family paid rich tributes to its founder and freedom fighter Suresh Chandra Dey on his 111th birth anniversary.
During a programme organised at Kamani Centre in Bistupur on Thursday, April 21, homage was paid to Suresh Dey, Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and freedom fighter Master Surya Sen. Prominent people of the city along with Sreeleathers employees paid floral tributes to the founder.
On the occasion Bhaskar Mitra and PK Nandi said that Suresh Chandra Dey laid foundation of Sreeleathers in the year 1952 on a very small note but due to his hardwork and dedication it stands tall today and has spread its wings all over the country.
Suresh Dey was involved in various social works and Sreeleathers continues the tradition in association with several organisations.
With its motto ‘World Class Right Price’, Sreeleathers has been serving the people and hopes to continue the same in years to come.
