Jamshedpur, May 9 : Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest jointly with Sreeleathers spread awareness on �Pad Habits�. The club also installed two sanitary pad vending machines at Pupils Academy High school, Baradwari and Utkrimit Uchya Vidhyala, Lakshmi Nagar, Burmamines.
President of IWC Jamshedpur Zest Navneet Kaur explained the girl students of both the schools the importance of menstrual hygiene, it’s preventive measures and how to dispose the napkins.
�It’s an initiative taken by IWC Zest to improve the reproductive health of girls and women by increasing the accessibility, acceptability and affordability of the sanitary napkins and other protection materials for menstrual hygiene,� noted Kaur.
Members present for the event were IWC Zest President Navneet Kaur, Secretary Nisha gadia, Shweta jalan and Rajni Kabra and Smita.
