Jamshedpur: The Hameed Asghar Nazri Educational and Welfare Trust hosted a Ramadan Relief Distribution Program at Makkah Apartment in Dhatkidih this week. The initiative provided essential food kits to more than 100 underprivileged families, ensuring they have the resources needed for the holy month.
Supporting Sehri and Iftar
Each distributed kit contains vital food items to help families meet their daily nutritional needs for both Sehri (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (breaking of the fast). The program specifically targets economically weaker sections of Jamshedpur to alleviate the financial burden of the fasting period.
A Legacy of Community Welfare
Dr. Md. Moazzam Nazri, President of the Trust, emphasized that the organization has remained dedicated to social upliftment since its founding in 2018.
Beyond Ramadan aid, the Trust maintains a year-round commitment to the community through:
- Healthcare: Organizing free health check-up camps and medical consultations.
- Education: Distributing notebooks, stationery, and learning materials to children in need.
- Seasonal Aid: Running winter drives to provide blankets and warm clothing to the homeless.
“Our goal is to bring meaningful change to the lives of underprivileged families in Jamshedpur through consistent humanitarian efforts,” stated Dr. Nazri during the event.
