Jamshedpur, Jan. 29: The Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) organized the 5th Poster Painting Competition for project and government schools at the Centre for Excellence here on Friday.
Nearly 100 students from 20 schools participated in the event. The children painted posters on the theme �Environment.�
The participants were judged by Public Biswas and B. Shankar, instructors from Jamshedpur School of Art, and Dr Ashutosh Kumar Jha, lecturer, KMPM Inter College.
Dipesh Tandi of Kerala Public Hindi School, Kadma, was declared the winner, followed by Khushbu Kumari of Kerala Samajam Hindi School, Sakchi, and Dashmal Tudu of Kerala public Hindi School, Kadma.
Consolation prizes were given to Nilima Patro of Sardamony Girls� High School, Sakchi, Rohit Nag of DBMS Lilliput, Kadma, and Jyotirmoy Panja of Shri Ramkrishna High School, Bistupur.
