Jamshedpur, Nov 18: As a CSR initiative JUSCO celebrated Children’s Day, 14th November at the Parvatipur Academic Centre. School bags were distributed to all the 50 children and various competitions like recitation, painting, drawing etc were held and awards were given to the winners.
Seven football matches were also organized between eight teams with representation from seven villages in the vicinity. Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, General Manager, (Jamshedpur Town Services) presided over the inaugural ceremony and all the events were kicked off by Capt. Mishra.
The other JUSCO officials present were Preeti Sehgal, CS & Chief CSR, S Jayaram, Arun Singh, Sk. Imamulla and the PSD team. The closing ceremony culminated with cash gifts being awarded to the winning and runner up teams and
consolation prizes to the other participating teams.
The closing ceremony was presided by Binod Shrivastava, Vice- Chairman, Adityapur Nagar Parishad.
