Jamshedpur, Dec 21: The three-day sports event Frolic-2024 kicked off at RVS College of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday. The inaugural session was chaired by Binda Singh, President of the RVS Educational Trust, with Kishore Kaushal, SSP, Jamshedpur, as the chief guest.
Dr. Nagendra Singh, Senior Surgeon at Ganga Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Amar Singh, Principal of Cooperative College, Jamshedpur, attended as special guests.
Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Principal of the college, highlighted recent developments and advancements at the institution. Chief Guest Kishore Kaushal urged students to focus on acquiring technical knowledge and skill development, emphasizing the importance of communication in English for career success. He also encouraged students to engage in sports for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Bharat Singh, Secretary of the Institute, reaffirmed the college’s commitment to holistic student development, providing sports facilities for major games. Dr. Amar Singh encouraged students to achieve success in both academics and sports, while Dr. Nagendra Singh advised students to avoid addiction.
The session concluded with a balloon release, marking the official opening of Frolic 2024. Following the inauguration, a lecture on drug addiction, organized by NDLI in collaboration with RVS College, was delivered by Dr. Nagendra Singh. The session was conducted by Dr. Sudhir Jha.
