Speeding trailer turns turtle in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 24: A major accident occurred on Saturday morning near Marine Drive Pratimanagar, under Kadma police station, when a speeding trailer lost control and collided with the divider. The impact caused the trailer to overturn, blocking the middle of the road. Promptly responding to the incident, local residents swiftly broke the front glass of the trailer to rescue the trapped driver, who was subsequently rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, a local youth sustained injuries while assisting in breaking the glass. The police were immediately notified about the incident and swiftly arrived at the scene. With the assistance of a crane, the authorities managed to upright the overturned trailer. Witnesses reported that at around 9 am, the trailer was traveling at high speed from Sonari towards the toll bridge when it crashed into the divider, resulting in the accident. The trailer was transporting iron sheets at the time. Despite the severity of the situation, the driver was successfully extricated from the wreckage and received medical attention for his injuries.
