Speech contest at Karim City College

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: Speech competition was organised by Women’s Cell of Karim City College on 25th November in order to create awareness 

about gender inequality on  the occasion of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The topic of the speech competition was  Unite Against Violence.The students participated in Hindi, English. Urdu and Bangla. The First prize in the English category was given to Jagrity Singh of English department. Second prize in English was shared by Shridhar Mishra of Political Science department and Hirak Chandra Sen of Political Science department. The third prize in English category was won by Ishrat Naaz of Commerce and Tahreen Fazl of Physics Department. The first prize in the Hindi category was won by Anupriya Maity of Physics department. Second prize  was won by Nikhil Gupta of Physics department and third prize by Deepa Rani Bagti  of History department. The first prize in Urdu was won by Uzma Shakeel of Economics Department, Second prize by Ayesha Firdous of Urdu Department and third prize by Inshal Ahmad.  Deepika Roy of Chemistry Department got the first prize  in Bangla.
