Special team to facilitate return of trapped Jharkhand labourers in Uttarakhand

Ranchi:, October 19 Following the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a team has left from Ranchi to help 13 laborers from Jharkhand trapped in a tunnel in Uttarakhand.

Incidentally, the tunnel under construction on Brahmakamal and Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi has caved in. 40 laborers from different states are trapped in this.

The team has been ordered to bring the workers safely to Jharkhand. The team sent from Ranchi includes JAP IT CEO Bhunesh Pratap Singh, Joint Labor Commissioner Rajesh Prasad and Joint Labor Commissioner Pradeep Robert Lakda. These officers have been asked to reach Uttarakhand and continuously update the situation of the workers.
