Special Task Force to relocate stray cattles in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: In an important move to enhance urban safety and prevent untoward incidents, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar convened a high-level meeting to strategize the capture and relocation of stray cattle roaming across city areas.

He stated that stray cattle often pose risks to commuters and residents, and the administration is committed to addressing the issue by sending these animals to designated gaushalas.

To ensure smooth execution, a specialized team has been constituted comprising:

* Members nominated by the District Animal Husbandry Officer

* Representatives nominated by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee

* Members nominated by Jusco

* Experts nominated by Tata Steel Zoological Park

* Representatives nominated by Tatanagar Gaushala

The newly formed team has been issued necessary instructions and directed to report tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM to begin operations.

The meeting also witnessed the presence of the office’s City Manager, officials, staff members, Mango Municipal Corporation personnel, and representatives of the gaushala, all of whom assured full cooperation in the upcoming drive.

The administration aims to make urban spaces safer and more organized through this coordinated initiative.
