SP activists observe Dhikkar Diwas

Jamshedpur: Samajwadi Party (SP) activists observed Dhikkar Diwas on Saturday to register their protest of the Election Commission of India.

They put up a demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum and handed over a memorandum addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner BS Sampat to the DC Dr Amitabh Kaushal.

The agitation was led by DG Raja. Raja alleged that there were a total of 186 tainted MPs in the 16th Lok Sabha.

He said the Election Commission had failed in its duty to prevent tainted politicians from getting elected to the Parliament.
