Jamshedpur: Two motorcycle borne criminals looted cash worth Rs 1.5 lakh from one Janardan Prasad, a resident of Tuiladungri, at Golmuri in broad day light on Saturday.
The victim told police he was on his way home after withdrawing cash from the Golmuri branch of Canara Bank. Two unidentified persons approached the victim and looted the bag containing cash from his possession.
An investigation has begun into the incident. An FIR was registered by Golmuri police in this connection against unidentified persons.
Cops are trying to identify the culprits on the basis of information given by the victim.
