South Eastern Railway Men’s Union to attend AIRMF Mumbai convention

Jamshedpur, Nov 2: The South Eastern Railway Men’s Union (SERMU) held a meeting at Tatanagar in which members of the union’s Branches 1 and 2 (Tatanagar unit) also participated. The meeting was chaired by MK Singh, the Coordinator of the Chakradharpur Division of the Men’s Union and witnessed discussions on the forthcoming convention of All India Railway Men’s Federation (AIRMF) in Mumbai on November 8. Railway employees from the South East Railway Zone will also participate in the convention. MK Singh stated that a special train would depart from Santragachi on November 5, making stops at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, and Jharsuguda before reaching Mumbai. Union officials will travel to Mumbai on this train on November 5. The meeting discussed strategies to make the convention a success and ensure active participation. Among the top office bearers of SERMU who attended the meeting included Sanjay Singh, Secretary of the Tatanagar Branch; SN Shiv, President; AK Singh, Secretary of Branch Two; MP Gupta, Assistant Secretary and several other union officials.
