Sonari Gurudwara election on June 24

Jamshedpur: The new Pradhan of Sonari Gurudwara Committee would be elected on 24th June. Counting of votes and announcement of results would take place on the same day. This was informed on Friday by the election committee convenor Balbir Singh Gill.

Gill said the scrutiny of candidates would take place on 16th June. Election symbols would be allotted in the evening on the same day. A total of 395 voters will be casting their votes from eight zones. Proxy voting will not be allowed. All voters will have to bring Aadhar card or voter identification card on the polling day, said Gill.

So far three candidates, Sardar Manjeet Singh, Sardar Tara Singh and Sardar Deedar Singh have filed nominations for the post of Pradhan.
