Son Murders Father with Axe in Giridih after money refusal

Giridih: In Parsabani village of Chongakhar Panchayat under Birni police station, a tragic incident unfolded as a son brutally murdered his father using an axe. The horrifying crime occurred when the father, Sukhdev Soren (50), declined to provide money to his son, provoking a violent response. Following the gruesome act, villagers apprehended the accused and handed him over to the police. The accused, identified as Sandeep Soren, has been incarcerated.

The local police, led by Bharakatta OP in-charge Sumant Prasad, swiftly responded to the incident. The deceased’s body was subsequently transported to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination as investigations into the motive behind the murder are underway.
