Ranchi, June 28: Presiding over the Solider Welfare Directorate meeting, Governor Draupdi Murmur said that skill development training should be imparted in such a way that people could be given maximum benefit and get engaged in work. �
She briefed about the importance of vocational study and said that it should be made available to people so that they could get jobs easily.
On this occasion, she said that directorate should work for benefit of martyrs� widow and keep soft corner for their family too.
Moreover, she gave consent to monthly salary enhancement to contractual workers. The Directorate placed income � expenditure account also before the Governor.
In this meeting additional chief secretary, Home Department, �N. N. Pandey, development commissioner-cum-additional chief secretary, Planning �and Finance, Amit Khare, Directorate of Soldier Welfare Brigadiers B. G. �Pathak, Arvindam, Anmol Sood and other officials were present.
