Jamshedpur, July 27: The NSS unit of Karim City College (KCC) organized a university-level Youth Dialogue Competition on the theme, ‘India-2040’ during which, the competitors shared their perspectives on India’s future in the upcoming years.
The competitors were given two topics to choose from, ‘Sense of Duty among Citizens’ and ‘The Power of Unity and Togetherness.’ A time limit of five minutes was set for each speaker. The panel of judges comprised Dr Rashmi Kumari from the Department of Mass Communication, Dr Farzana Anjum from the Geography Department and Dr Pasarul Islam. NSS Program Officer, Dr Ale Ali and NSS Coordinator, Syed Sajid Parvez, were also present.
In his welcome address, Dr Ale Ali stated that by 2047, India would complete a hundred years of independence and by then, the country would have transformed into a developed nation.
Sneha Sharma was declared the Best Speaker of the event followed by Mobina Begum who was placed second and Sourav Sinha bagged the third slot. Varsha Chaudhary was presented a consolation award. The event was anchored by NSS volunteer Manav Ghosh. NSS Coordinator, Syed Sajid Parvez extended the vote of thanks.
