Jamshedpur, June 13: The Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE), regional directorate, Jamshedpur, organized a one-day seminar on “Organizational Development through Skill Development & Learning” at Electric Loco Training Centre (ELTC), Tatanagar, South Eastern Railway, on Monday.
Around 90 railway officers participated in the seminar and benefitted from it.
Pashupati Nath Sah, education officer at CBWE, was the chief guest on the occasion. He was welcomed by senior divisional electrical engineer Anant Sadashiv and principal of electric loco training centre, Tatanagar, Amulyo Kumar Pushti.
Heading the seminar, Anant Sadashiv, said, “The Indian railways is going through a transition period where one side there is huge pressure to provide the passengers with high quality service while the modern technology transformations has made the workers learn the new age technique in quick succession.
CBWE has been supporting the officers and employees with psychological counseling for practical problems and knowledge,” he added.
Sah said, Indian railways has completed 156 years of service and the government is trying to develop every area connected with the railways and the related training is also being imparted.
“Today we should work as a team by learning the technological advances and teach and learn from each other. Employees should be multi skilled, cognizant and lead the team by themselves.”
