SJM mourns loss of Ratan Tata, praises contributions to Indian industry

Jamshedpur, October 10: Manoj Kumar Singh, National Working Committee Member of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) and Chairman of the Khadi Village Industries Commission from the Eastern Zone, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Ratan Tata. Singh highlighted that Tata, as an entrepreneur, paved a new path for the country and significantly contributed to the industrial development of India. He noted that Tata’s influence extended beyond national borders as he acquired large industrial units abroad, elevating the Tata family’s business reputation both domestically and internationally.

Singh emphasized that Ratan Tata’s absence will be deeply felt in the industrial sector and acknowledged his patriotism, mentioning that he consistently stepped forward to assist during national calamities as a dedicated social worker. The country will forever remember his invaluable contributions.

On this occasion, Bandeshankar Singh of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, stated that Ratan Tata was a historical figure who redefined the concept of Swadeshi. He demonstrated that manufacturing in India could produce steel, vehicles, and other products that were equivalent to or even superior to foreign alternatives. Ratan Tata’s legacy will always be revered for his commitment to Swadeshi principles.
