Six year old girl raped in Bagbera, FIR lodged

Jamshedpur: A Bagbera resident, identified as Hari Patro, allegedly raped a six year old girl in Railway Traffic Colony under Bagbera police station area on 7th April last. He committed the heinous crime when the victim�s parents were away at work. He took the minor out of her house to a bushy place and assaulted her criminally. When the girl started crying, the accused threatened her of dire consequences, sources said.
The victim�s mother informed local residents and Bagbera police on coming to know of the incident. An FIR was lodged against Patro in this connection. Cops sent the minor to MGM Hospital for medical examination and began a search for the accused.
