Six shops burnt to ashes in Jamshedpur’s Dimna Road

Jamshedpur, Jan 17: Six footpath shops were burnt into ashes in a fire mishap near Darbhanga Dairy on Mango Dimna Road last night. In the accident all the goods were burnt to ashes. The shopkeepers came to know about the incident only when they reached to open the shop on Monday morning.

The shopkeepers who have suffered damage included Raju Kumar, who runs a tailor shop, besides vegetable seller Chanchla Gorai, Tapan, Dulari Gorai, cycle repairman Ajay Sahu and another shopkeeper. However, no one was in a position to say anything concrete about how the fire started. The shopkeepers said that MNAC has made vendor cards for all the shopkeepers. They are also charged tax every day. Despite this, no officer of the notified area committee came to know about his condition. Due to this, more disappointment was seen among the shopkeepers. Meanwhile, BJP leader Vikas Singh reached the spot. After taking information about the incident from the shopkeepers, he has assured them of help.
