Singhbhum Chamber thanks Banna for putting on hold Sairat rent hike

Jamshedpur, Oct 20: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) members expressed gratitude to state Health Minister Banna Gupta on Thursday for his role in staying the implementation of government decision to hike Sairat shop rent and holding tax.

SCCI president Vijay Anand Moonka, vice president Mukesh Mittal and general secretary Manav Kedia said the Urban Development Department officials took a decision to keep on hold the government decision to increase Sairat market rent and holding tax in Mango, Jugsalai, Jhumri Tilaiya and Domchanch till further orders.

Chamber members said Gupta had taken the decision in larger public interest which was praiseworthy.
